These people are scam artist. They have been calling us for almost 2 years from 15 different phone numbers (which I have blocked)originating from 15 different states saying they are going to serve us with papers at our home or place of business. No papers ever come. They claim this is for a credit card which was sold to another company and we still have that credit card. Nothing is on our credit report for this. They also use threatening language like "judgement against you" and this action may result in "your arrest." No judgement can be entered against you unless you have been given the right to appear in front of the court. They are rude and unprofessional and refuse to give you their address. A legitimate collection agency must give you their name and address by law. What they want is for you to give them a credit card over the phone to "settle" the debt. DON'T DO IT!!!
