The above-mentioned companies cheat international buyers by sending them worthless products such as stones. The China Customs department and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) are responsible for checking of the goods before they are exported and the Country of Origin (COO) certificate is issued. It is Custom’s & CCPIT’s minimal responsibility to make sure that the physical goods match the description on the COO and other export documents. How can a country’s export department allow exporting of stones or empty container??!! The CCPIT department is directly involved in assisting with the fraud.

The local laws in China doesn't allow a foreign company to sue a Chinese company for recovering its money. The foreign company needs to be represented by local Chinese lawyers and even that does not increase the chances of recovering the money. Moreover, the laws in China regarding fraud by local companies are so complicated that even our lawyers are helpless till this day.

We did not give up the hope of recovering our money and nor do we plan to give up the hope of recovering our money in future. We plan to consistently make efforts towards achieving our goal of putting the fraudulent companies behind bars and recover our money. With this noble intention we wrote numerous (more than 400) emails, letters (by post) to all the relevant Chinese Government Departments at the Centre and the Province/State level. But so far we have not received any response or reply from any of the China authorities. This makes us believe that China authorities only care about money coming in their country and have no respect for international business or business values and ethics. We suspect they must be helping the fraudulent companies by not taking any action against or even worse protecting and hiding them from police, and the legal system of the country.
