This company has been withdrawing funds from my husband's business account after someone called him convincing him that they were sending police officers to my job to arrest me for money owed to Advance America here in Florida. The thing is that I received another call from a company claiming that I owed a different amount to Advance America from three years prior to what they told my husband I owed. In Florida, you cannot take out a payday loan if you have an outstanding payday loan balance. I was pretty sure that I had paid Advance America, but these people were so convincing it caused an argument between me and my husband, and he authorized this company to take out withdraws from his account. The first being $165.00 and then $150.00 each month after until supposed debt of $750.00 (sound familiar?) was paid. I looked into the Florida laws, and since owing the same company two payday loans at the same time is impossible in my state, and that companies outside my state have no right to take any type of legal action against me (since I do not owe that state money - Advanced America is not a New York company), I believe that my husband and I have been defrauded. How do I find out, and how do I get our money back?
