We told the sales person that we wanted leather furniture. We finally decided on a couch, love seat and chair. We were clearly told that these were leather. This purchase was made five years ago. About a month ago it started to peel and crack on all three pieces. After investigating I found out that its mended leather. Their is no repairing this as once it starts it will continue. When I talked to DeWaard and Bode I was told it only had a one year warranty but they would contact the mfg. After following up several times I was told that since it was five years old their was nothing they could do. I would have never invested in this furniture knowing that in five years I would need to replace it. This company chose not to offer any compensation or even a store credit. This is a small price compared to losing a customer and sharing this with my family and friends. I will never buy anything else from them.
