This is a Bankruptcy Trustee who cannot be trusted. He works for Furr & Cohen in Boca. He induced me into signing a settlement agreement on several issues by telling me if I did not settle, he would have to charge my estate more in fees. I settled, which benefitted him. We signed all the documents after which he trumped up reasons why he had to keep the case open. Approximately $200k and almost two years later Furr & Cohen, the firm he works at have not come up with anything. However, they keep churninG THOSE FEES.

I have heard from several attorneys, all of which are afraid to take on Furr & Cohen, apparently a local legend, that they are infamous for making up things in order to soak the bankruptcy estate for all it is worth. They are helped by Judge Eric Kimbal who willy-nilly over rules ANY OBJECTION when it comes to them. I have heard this from many attorneys down in South Florida. The good old boy network is alive and well on the federal level.

The moral of the story is if Barmat or Furr and Cohen are trustees in any case you are involved in, do not take them at their word or once the ink is dry on an agreement. THEY ARE ALL POWERFUL US TRUSTEES WITH JUDGE ERIC KIMBALL AS THEIR BOY. SOMETHING IS WRONG DOWN HERE IN SOUTH FLORIDA BUT NO ONE CARES. I BELIEVE THERE IS MUCH MORE THAN MEETS THE EYE HAPPENING BEHIND CLOSED DOORS.
