I sold him my business in 2009 and got scammed . A business that took me 15 years to build. He was supposed to make monthly payments and he only paid me approximately $15,000.00 first payment and did not pay anything else. He immediately started liquidating the inventory. I went to the police and the DA they said there is nothing they can do. He even reported me to the police for trying to go back to my business to see what was he up to. Around 4 months later he and my business disappeared. He told me prior to buying my business that he buys business and build them up and resells them and he owned 17 other businesses at that time. It seems he had other victims .
