I received an unsolicited letter from a "psychic" named Josef of the American Esoteric Society. He said he would never ask me for money, that he wanted to do a free reading for me out of the kindness of his heart. I agreed out of curiosity. Next thing I knew, he said I owed him $24.00 since he had asked another psychic to help him since he was so interested in my free reading. He said he had advanced her the $24 for me. When I got the bill, I wrote back saying I had never authorized this, and to take my name off his mailing list. He continues to harass me, now saying I owe him $42 in late charges (for a service I never ordered)and he would submit my non-payment to the credit bureaus! I asked him to send me any proof that I had ordered such a thing, but he ignores the request and just keeps on harassing me with monthly bills and threats. I will never pay for this as I never authorized it.
