I received a USPS priority envelop containing a check from SunTrust Bank $1,850.00 and a slim piece of paper with the following message:
EMAIL [email protected] AND ALSO TEXT (916) 347-0798 AS SOON AS YOU RECEIVE THIS PACKAGE FOR FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING THIS TASK.
I instantly took to the internet to search for instances of fraud concerning "payofficer" and found this is a scam.
