I was first sent a cashiers check for $1997.14 I was to keep $500 for wages and $50 for the western union fee and send $1447 to a John Lehmann in the Phillipines. the check was put on hold and then released almost 2 weeks later. that check was legit. I then got a check again for a second assignment. the check was for $2997.14. again I was to send $2397 to an address in the Phillipines to John Lehmann. I was to keep $500 for wages and use $100 for the western union fee. 5 days later the bank tells me the check was on hold because they couldn't collect the funds. I took the money out 4 days after depositing it. I called arrowhead credit union and gave them the check number to find out it was a bogus check. I found out a day after taking the money out and sending it. I realized this after depositing another check for $2997.14 to be send to a Christine bands in the pillapines. same directions keep $500 and $100 for the fee. I am now assed out of $2697 dollars.
