Frank Espesito signed me up wrong with CPS. He did not tell me about any anual membership fee of $75. Promised me things that were not true. Also left out information concerning any fine points like any crazy cancellation fees ($500)or anything to better their financial position. They went into my business bank account and financially molested my account with a unauthorised charge of $75 on my account which sent my account into negatives. I put the appropriate money in there to cover the agreed apon funds to be charged every month($15/month).I had no reason to check up on that business account for that month as I put the money in for 2 months. One (weeks later)day I checked and noticed the unauthorised activity on my account and called CPS and asked them to stop this immediately and that I want my refund of $75 and I want them to pay for the financial damage they caused. I had not heard back from them for a while and then this is the reply I got back: *please Note* (the email conversations are not in the proper order because it better fits together in this explination as it has been layed out here)

We are not walking away from the issue, we are refunding you the charge that was taken and the NSF fee that was charged originally. I explained to you via email (which I have proof of) that your fees will still be charged after the $85 was debited. I also explained to you that the refund will we provide is ASIDE from the fees to be collected, and the fees cannot be taken from money promised. You should have brought your account up to date. I am the director of operations here in CPS. The sole person that is on top of me is the president of the company and he does not communicate with merchants. If you have anything further to relay to me, you may do so. Until that time, we will refund you the $130 as promised and that will cover the funds taken out and the first NSF fee that was charged.

*NOTE* I was told on Feb 9th 2015 the refund never happened by First Data, I confirm that to be true.

No matter how I tried to explain this to them
they were not willing to accept accountability for their actions.

As I have mentioned previously, you are responsible for keeping your account up to date. Your account gets a set amount of charges on a monthly bases. You were notified of the amounts and the times you will be debited monthly. In regards to the $85, you were sent a letter to notify you that the funds will be taken out. You did not notify us to stop that transaction. We are refunding this charge because in fact you did not sign the agreement with the agreed $85 in place so we are waving it, although it was done completely legally. First Data could change and raise charges as long as there is a prior notification in place. As a good faith gesture we are also refunding the $45 NSF fee that you encountered because of the $85 charge. There is nothing further we could do. If you would like to receive a copy of the letter that was sent to you in regards to the extra fees that will be charged, that we are refunding, I could arrange the customer service department to sent you a copy. As for all other charges you encountered from your bank, you are responsible for them.

Total no accountability!

I put the money($30) in there for my months of charges ($15). Isn't that what she just said to do? Ok, so obviously she is wrong and I did. I have bank statements for proof!!!!!
All the transactions are recorded so I have
all the proof for my claim!

I set up my account properly as planned to our agreement.

The money that was in there was to cover my costs of merchant operation.

That is all the money I have to cover that cost.

Your company removed the money. So you see, I did take care of my responsibility to my account. Now your company has a
responsibility to compensate me financially for it's errors.

You can't walk away from your mistake and just admit it was

wrong for you to do and not have to pay financial compensation

for money lost due to your company's actions. This is what you

are trying to do and it is unacceptable. I will not tolerate it.



I look forward to speaking with someone that is in a position higher than

yours between now and Tuesday Jan7th 2014.

This is a notice that now your total owing to me is now $345.47 CAD for the NSF fees occurred by cps because of cps's unauthorized account access and all relevant financial damaged that has incurred due to the unauthorized account access by cps and or it's affiliates."

As per my understanding and what I highlighted for you below (in yellow), you asked to speak to someone higher than me. To which I promptly explained is not possible.

Is there something that customer service is not able to help you with? I notated your account with all decisions that have been made in regards to your previous inquiries.


These people make me sick.

THEY ARE NOT EVEN CANADIAN!
THEY DONT CARE IF THEY RIP YOU OFF BECAUSE IT DOESN'T HURT THEIR ECONOMY!
They have avoided contact with me and also not have replied to my emails......

IF YOU DO BUSINESS WITH CANADIAN PAYMENT SERVICES AFTER READING THIS, YOU ARE STUPID AND REALLY SHOLD NOT THINK ABOUT GOING INTO ANY BUSINESS AS YOU WILL PROVE TO YOURSELF YOU ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO MAKE GOOD CHOICES FOR A COMPANY!
