I purchased a 2014 Malibu ababout 3 months ago. after driving this vehicle my wife and I started getting sick from sore throats. turned out to be from mold due to rainwater infiltrating the cabin of our new car. They found a welding area wasn't sealed and caused the mold due to water infiltrating the cabin. After fixing the leak and replacing the carpet nothin improved. They then conducted a mold test which showed irritants in the vehicle. I finally went through the lemon law and was told by Sara with the GM buy back headquarters and Ivan the manager at Steve Rayman Chevrolet that they could do a swap at MSRP.Upon doing so they put me in a Malibu of lesser value. After having it a week or so I talked to GM and Ivan on 02/07/2015. Ivan called and said it made no sense to swap on a lesser value and to come in and pick one with the same MSRP.when i got there, Ivan had a change of heart and told me that he couldn't do an even swap because he would be losing money and can't sell the lemon that GM repurchased. I tried to go with the lesser value Malibu and Ivan said he couldn't allow me to drive it off the lot and could put me in a fleet car. Who would do this? Then Ivan told me that my problem was not his problem. So in the end I was forced back into the lemon that was declared by GM. Alvin apparently thinks he and Steve Rayman Chevrolet are doing customers a favor for existing but I disagree. Without the customers they go out of business. Also I told Ivan I would contact legal counsel and he says that's probably what you should do. This guy really humiliated in front of others in the showroom as well. With that said. Do not purchase from Steve Rayman Chevrolet. They are rude and cocky and I will call their bluff on legal counsel.
