I signed an independent rep agreement to schedule seminars and promote attendance to those seminars. I was told there was a $10,000 per month budget to market the events. For the first three months, I tried dozens of times to get money from this budget for direct mail, print ads, email campaigns etc. I never obtained a nickel. Then our signed agreement was terminated without notice. The reason given was I was not performing. I have filed a law suit for past due compensation and we are going on one year now.
