I signed up with the understanding registration was free and gave my debit card information not knowing that I was going to be charged $99. They said that it was for a bid package that I had to buy. This was not stately clearly anywhere!! They said they would give I believe 40 bids free at registration. I used these for some auctions and won three small items. I was charged excessive shipping and that is where they got a total of $120.00 out of my account. I have called them and they gave excuses and now they say it is "under review". I have not been contacted with any decision yet. This is a scam!!!

  • YES, you're right! They ARE a scam!!! Don't give up, KEEP FIGHTING THEM! You WILL get your money back, file reports with the BBB, IC3 & online reporting/complaints boards, warn everyone you can to avoid Bidrack & NoMoreRack, get your bank to help you get your money back, threaten Bidrack with your lawyer (that's the only way I could get them to refund me, its a fight, & takes a while, but its WORTH IT!) We got to get them shut down! & with more reports like yours, it will happen! Keep us posted!

  • go to the ftc's link below and submit your complaint. i did. my credit card company sided with bidrack at first, but i submitted my exchange of messages with bidrack as proof that there was something wrong from the very start. i also told them that there are hundreds of complaints in scambook.com. so after 2 weeks, i got my $99 back from my credit card company ;)

  • Don't give up, and tell them until you get a complete refund that you're not going away. I got a refund, but they tried to get out of that the next day. Once I told them I had a recording of conversation, not happy with that, I was given confirmation numbers and the money was refunded the next day.
I did't report to the BBB, or other agencies...I just threatened to and told them my lawyer would be dealing with them if they didn't give me a refund. They tried the 5-7 biz, but I knew not to trust them and called the next day. Sure enough, I was told there was no refunds, blah blah blah, and offered me 240 bid points, lol. I told this "manager" that I'd recorded the conversation, not happy, and promptly put on hold. When she came back, it was with confirmation #'s and the funds had been refunded.
Quickest way is to threaten with what others have suggested doing, and tell bid rack the whole thing can be avoided by giving you a refund, which you know they do from all the bid rack scam web sites. Once they've agreed to a refund, get names and document time/conversation. Call and email everyday after that. Ask for confirmation numbers, and tell them that you will not wait. They'll tell you that u do, but you don't! I reminded them that it didn't take 5-7 days for them to process your money to buy bids, and that a refund can be done just as quickly.
I got confirmation numbers on the same call, if they don't it's because they're trying to stall. Accept no less, or call hourly until they'll give you the numbers. Then call bank/credit card to confirm!
Again, you can get a refund and accept no less!

  • UPDATE: I got my money back. I reported them to the BBB and the FTC as well as call them and e-mail them. They said they had to review it, but then made the decision to give me the money back. It took them about 3 days for them to deposit the money. Keep up the efforts to get this company shut down!!!!
