I donated a boat, a 1990 Grady White Marlin 28, to this organization with the assurance that a substantial portion of the proceeds would go to the Animal Care Center of St John USVI. I received a form 1098-C showing net proceeds of $13,100. As of today, 1/28/15 the ACC of St John has not received on cent. I tried to contact them by phone and was told I had to speak to a board member. I sent messages on their on line site but got no response. I sent a registered letter to their address but it was never picked up. I have no idea what they've done with the money that was earmarked for the ACC.
