On 1/20/15 a charge for $87. I had know idea what the charge was for so I immediately contacted my bank and they told me that Saving Makes Money had pulled $87 from my account through an electronic check. I immediately disputed the charge as I had never even heard of this company much less authorized a $87 transaction. From what I have found out this company obtain my information when I applied for a payday loan on 1/12/15. They charged my account on the 12th but the charge didn't show until the 20th. My bank gave me the company's information for me to try to get a refund on my side while they are investigating from their side. When I called the company I was connected to someone who barely speaks English and she read from a script. When I tried to stop her she continue reading off this spill telling me I did authorize the company to remove money from my account and I did order their product. She would not tell me what I ordered though. She claimed to cancel my subscription and will not be charged anything else. She said I didn't qualify for a refund of $87 bc I didn't contact them within 5 days of my order. I tried to explain how I couldn't have contacted them during the 5 days bc I didn't place an order and I didn't know about it until the 20th which was apparently 8 days after this order was placed. She said that she couldn't help me so I asked to speak to the supervisor and she informed me she was the supervisor. I asked for their address and she refused to give it to me. She then asked me to take a survey to rate her customer service performance. I told her she had to be kidding me. She return to reciting from her script so I hung up on her. I called the Better Business bureau and was able to obtain an address for the company. I went and filed a police report. I went to my bank and closed my account. My bank is investigating this crime but until they make a decision I'm out of my $87. I'm a single mother and I do not get help from anyone in supporting my child. Every dime I make has to be spent wisely so that I can keep my child fed, clothed and a roof over his head. I would have never authorized this company to take $87 from me
The day they charged me I had to get a payday loan to get my power turned back on so I know there would have been no way in hell I would have wasted $87 on a product I have no idea what it is or is about. From what I can tell this company has been robbing people for years now. Please put a stop to this so that no other innocent people get scammed....
