They called an threatened my mother, saying they were sending a sheriff to her home for me. She panicked and called me. I called them and they said they were with the attorney's office trying to serve me. They also told me about my credit cards and balance available. They obtained a 10 year judgement and a court date because they were unable to reach me. In order to avoid this action I had to pay $2400. I panicked because I was could not have a judgement on my record. I released my information and my credit card (foolish I know), and submitted a payment for $780. I didn't get a call back or a receipt, and I panicked again and called my credit card company and told them to investigate. They advised they would change the card number. I called the ftc and am filing a complaint on them. I called them to get an address and a license number, and they gave me an address that was virtual. I'm still nervous, because they have all my personal information.
