I took up the offer of a free trial for two products, Skin Essentials and Nulexa, which all I had to pay for was postage of £2.99 and £2.95. at no point was it make obvious that if not cancelled in 14 days then two further payments would be taken from my account, one of £75.95 and one of £79.95, I receive two emails on the 30th December sayingThe charge you have authorized today including sales tax will appear on your credit card statement as 0-808-189-0651 I called Natwest Retail dispute team, they said as both transactions were already pending they could not prevent the money going out, I then called the above number, which is not UK based, and after some conversation and me begging for a refund, they said they would give me a 35% refund, then I was close to getting a full refund when the call was dropped, I called back, that call dropped, on my 3rd attempt I got through and was told that as I had "disconnected" the call my account had been closed and no refunds of any amount would be given. I hung up at this stage as was afraid the calls were costing a fortune. I then received two further emails, same content: “This email is to inform you that your subscription status has been recently updated and any ongoing or all future charges have been cancelled as per your request. I also received a text from Natwest saying"we have cancelled the payment(s) as discussed and any further payment s will be refunded. I took both these to mean I had successfully managed to get my money back, but on the 2nd of January the money was taken from my account. From looking online there are multiple stories similar to mine so it looks like a scam but also looks extremely difficult to get money back, I cannot afford this on some bogus cream. Many thanks Gerry
