Swift Trading (Peter Baker) is a computer company operating out of Amphoe Koh Sa-Mui Surat Thani Thailand they also have an Australian web site address. Peter Baker was hired to create coding for something i was designing. Something he supposedly excelled in. After a number of emails sent back and forth we eventually agreed on what was possible and needed to be done. The job was a big one. I sent sent Peter Baker £700 via paypal as i knew my money would be protected. Weeks went by and he kept fobbing me off with his 'Rome wasn't built in a day' theory. Given that the job in question was a difficult and fairly original idea i gave him the benefit of the doubt. More time went by and i demanded to see progress, evidence that he had actually been working on the project. He couldn't. He just came up with excuse after excuse and lie after lie after lie, sending google image after google image trying to convince me that he had taken the photos. As i realized that everything he had told me was untrue i put a claim in against him using paypal. As i paid in 2 separate payment i was only reimbursed half of my money as paypal has a rule that you only have a certain amount of time to put in a claim against someone and be refunded. I am now sure that he was trying to buy time so that i could not claim any money back. Paypal reviewed the complaint and decided in my favor. I have ever single correspondence that i had with Peter Baker and my bank are using it as evidence to claim the rest of my money back. Simply put, this guy is a born liar, and a scam artist. My advise to anyone that is about to deal with him would be to run a mile. Also, as the previous complaint has mentioned he tried selling a laptop to here. He also used the same thing on me. Unfortunately for him i was only interested in the work i had paid him to do. Please do not deal with this man. Find someone who actually has evidence online of the work they have done. Plain and simple, this man is a con artist and a compulsive liar!
