I have been applying for jobs through gum tree and I came across a job and the employer constantly emailed me and sent me a bankers draft cheque £2,500 and I couldn't believe my eyes. I was shocked and I did goggle his name and his company to find out whether it is a legitimate or fraud. I did find out that this is a scam and he did try to get further information from me. However, he failed as I am clued up and have contacted the police and fraud team and the cheque is with the fraud team.
I am an innocent person, simply trying to find work and have found this scam artist and I am disgusted to know that people like him get away with it.
