I was looking for information that might validate the authenticity of the email I was sent (*pasted below for others to see or compare to their own) In the Google list of search returns I saw Scambook.com and decided to take a look. I wasn't expecting to find anything confirming Facebook actually giving away such a large sum of money and that I would actually be one of five people who didn't even enter their contest, but I was expecting a scam of some form and I believe that is what this email is in reality. So I am submitting it, not to request money for damages but to help make others aware that this scam is still alive and well on the internet. I hope it can help prevent people from becoming victims and losing money. Of course if you find this notice NOT to be a scam please contact me immediately! lol
