I got a text message in response to an ad I had on gumtree. Weird thing about the text was that instead of it coming up on my phone as a random number, the name Ernela immediately came up.

"She" said she did not wish to speak on the phone. But wanted my 'item' on gumtree. I thought - it's a bike not an item but ok.

The email I got had a pic of her passport. Then after a bit of back and forth she ends up saying something about she couldn't pay her courier from where she is (working 15 days on 15 days on) and she would send all of the money to me via paypal with a condition that I sent £180 to her courier (the couriers name is: Fiona Watt - she sent a sort and account no with it but I won't post it as it could actually be someone else's).

I told her if it was that much of a problem she could send me the £200 upfront and I would make the payment myself. She responded with "I'll need you to pay for me and Paypal will send you the payment for the time + the 200 you spent".

Then I did a google search and saw that she has a complaint against her on this site.

I told her to get a proper job and stop stealing from people :)
