I took my iPad Air 2 into the "IT Centre Bristol" (or also known as www.appleservice.co.uk) for a like-for-like glass screen replacement.

After receiving the iPad back, not only did I notice scratches on the back, I also noticed the iPad screen was switching off at random times whilst in use. It wasn't until later that day when I found my battery was deteriorating fast, I noticed the magnet wasn't working either.

I took my iPad to a local Apple store to be told that the screen replaced was of a cheap quality. When I approached the older man on the front desk at the IT Centre, he became hysterical about it all and said it was an OEM fitted screen. When I requested written confirmation, he started screaming, shouting threw me out his shop. Although the repair was only £129, Apple have confirmed that this screen is irreplaceable so a new or refurbished has to be purchased.
