So similar to everyone else on here, I was hit by the Yorkie bandits call sign, [email protected], based out of "Columbus, Ohio". The numbers they are using now are (641) 316-6421 and (636) 321-7604 and (774) 326-0668 which is the USA PET MOVERS number. So I was searching oodles for Yorkies and came across the listing for Yorkies in my area for $250. I inquired and found out I needed to send $300 to cover the $50 shipping fee. I needed to send it urgent so that they could catch the airplane and get these babies to me ASAP! B.S.! I asked if they accepted Paypal or Credit cards and they said they could only do Money Gram or Western Union (1st red flag). So, I paid it because I have a 4 year old and a 18 month old and I let my emotions cloud my judgement. The seller said she tried to get it shipped but there was no plains heading my way at that time. Had to do it in the morning. All of this correspondence was via text at the 641 number listed above. The next day I texted the number and asked for a status. They proceeded to tell me that everything was done and I should receive a call or email from the agency. This call occurred within micro seconds. The first thing the "agency" (aka USA PET MOVERS) was for me to validate the shipping address. Pretty harmless at that time. Within 30 minutes...URGENT! Email followed stating they needed $850 for a special crate and insurance that would be 100% refundable at the time of delivery. This red flag I paid attention too. I asked them for a "proof of life" video that my dog was alive and real. About 30 minutes later I received a video from them put it was just a Yorkie playing with a chew toy. They immediately called and asked if I had seen it and could I pay. I asked if I could pay via credit card...NOPE...guess again...Western Union. Non-traceable. At this point I said the only way I would pay was of the next video had a date and time and that they speak my name in the video. Needless to say, I never received the other video. I called my local sherif and immediately filed a police report. During all of this I texted the Seller and they were soooo shocked this was occurring. Once again, B.S. The other number listed above the 636 was a separate listing I was inquiring about. The Yorkie was listed for $300 this time and they were in Maryland. Being a little smarter I questioned them a little bit only to find out that their responses were the exact same that I received from the other listing. Long story short....if it is too good to be true...it is.
