I received a phone call from a guy name Norman Harvey ID#19325 (202)280-7079 ext 121, claimed that he is from the Dept of US Treasurer, Legal Dept. He had a heavy accent. He said that my name is in a law suit from the IRS from not filing tax and own tax in 2011, refused to pay the amount of $2929.63. He wanted to send a warrant to my lawyer, names 3 criminal charges against me, my license is revoked, my assets are ceased, and I will be in jail for 3 months if the case go to court. He said the next day there will be an officer in my practice to audit and ceased all my papers and my office. Even I told him that I never hear anything from the IRS, we always paid tax ahead of time, and take care all financial manner very prompt, but he insisted that I ignored the notices from the IRS. To make the story short, at the end he offered that if I wanted to stop the legal law suit, I must pay using the card called green.money pack card buying from either CVS or Walgreens in a $500.00 denomination right away, the IRS won't accept any form of payment like credit card or check. He even said that I should not hang up the phone until the money is paid to prevent the supoena, I have to maintain on the phone with him the whole time. He even stated that the call is federally recorded. I asked him how can I get the payment card, since he called me on the land line in the middle of my office hour, which a comment sense will tell you this is a scam.Finally he said he will give me 4 hours to go buy the cards and call him back with the number on the back of the cards. BE AWARE OF THIS KIND OF SCAM.
