Good day!

I am from Iloilo, Philippines. I have lost my Steam account after it has been hacked this day. I have read the Steam guidelines on retrieving a lost or hacked account but then I find no other way of recovering it because I do not have a solid or physical evidence showing my ownership which is one of the requirements in submitting a report to your management. Hence, I am voluntarily reporting my case to your company to help me recover my hacked account.

The details of my Steam account and the related email address are as follows:

I have been at this case after someone sent me a link through a chat box directing me to his Steam profile. Afterwards, I clicked the “Add Friend” button so that we can trade. A message then popped at my screen requiring me to download a file (File name: Steam Guard) and login using my account name and password. Innocent as I am, I followed these steps.

I am really a great enthusiast of Steam specifically of Dota 2. I hope your management can help me retrieve my account as possible. If not, please accept my overwhelming thanks for your effort. I will live up each day cherishing all the great memories I have playing my favorite online game, DotA 2, while hoping you can strengthen your security against frauds so as to protect us, your clients, gamers and fans.
