My home burned on New Years Eve. This company came to us 2 hours after it happened and told us they can help us by acting as a liason for the insurance company for a 8-10% fee of all claims. We signed a contract with them at that point our insurance company was not able to contact us directly. Our representative did not inform us that we had 180 days to replace all furnishing. Unfortunately we did not find that out until we where denied at $6500.00 claim we sent in to be reimburse for depreciation. NFA sent the receipts to the insurance company. The insurance company sent us a letter saying they know that they are not supposed to contact us directly but have told NFA numerous times that our 180 days was up. So NFA did not know about the 180 days themselves as they did not read the letters. They are not helpful and basically told us to get lost they are not responsible in any way. But they are they where are only communication with our insurance company. We had over $15,000 of money to collect but can't.

  • I have fired NFA and will be filing a lawsuit against them. There should be laws to prevent big companies like NFA from taking advantage and misguiding people who have already been enduring a terrible time. They have lied to me, delayed and denied my rights. They are suppose to help get what I deserve per my policy. They only want a quick "in the middle" solution, get there chunk and I get screwed by getting 60% of what my policy says that I deserve. Most lay down and just take it but I will not. If enough people will stand up to these bullies, we can do something about it. They make the situation worse by working WITH the insurance company and not for ME as they are contracted! I'm so distraught over their games!!!!!

  • To the comment above: Don't think for a second that NFA didn't know the law and timelines. They purposely let you get screwed because NFA and the insurance companies are in bed together. They team up to give you less. Consult an attorney. If you need an attorney that will help you just let me know and I will refer. It took me over 20 attorneys to find one. Most of the attorneys are in bed with those crooks also. However, when you find a good attorney, they will pay. However, most give up and take the screwing. I can't believe in USA they get away with it. They remind me of Don King.
