I would like to say, that since I posted this article there has been a change. You see in the original offer, the advertisement said free trial offer, all you had to do was pay for postage. When I noticed the money taken out of the bank and after telephoning the company I made them well aware they had broken the law, in as much as the words "Trial Offer." Well certainly you would not be buying a product unless you had tried it out, and this is what the words would suggest to any normal person. I told them that I would take them to court, as I had not even received the product to try it out and I told them considering this fact they were in total breach of any contract I may have had with them. The woman told me I was supposed to telephone them to cancel any transaction with them within fourteen days. I said yes.that may be true, if you actually had the product in the first place to evaluate it. I telephoned them initially on 1-866-942-9990, and made the official complaint, and told them I would take legal action, not only for fraudulent advertising, but for removing money from my bank before that fourteen day period was up. I also emailed them to let them know I had officially cancelled. It was a further few days until I heard from them again by email, and they had agreed to give me a full refund for the $170 dollars they had taken from my bank. I changed my bank card in view of the fact they could have taken more, but within seven days the full amount had been refunded to my bank.
I can only say, that perhaps you need to stand your ground in this matter and threaten them with legal action. I think this company wants to build a good reputation as well, although of that I cannot be sure.
I also investigated the cost of the contents of the capsules and for what was in there, it would have been no more than $2.00 or $3.00 dollars, certainly not worth $80.00. The contents were Acai Fruit, Green Tea Extract, Caffeine, Apple Cider Vinegar powder, Kelp, Grape Fruit powder, and in my professional opinion these capsules would not help you to lose weight, if not combined with proper exercise and a proper diet. It would not possibly strip the amount of weight from your body that they claim.
I also think that this product, could and should be regulated by the FDA, as they are selling it as a dietary supplement, and there are no indications that the product has been submitted for proper evaluation by the FDA, especially as it contains a large amount of caffeine: Two hundred milligrams in two capsules.
