I purchased UpdateMyDrivers from this company in the hope of speeding up my ancient PC to get through the coming months before investing in a new one. After running a scan and identifying 10 drivers issues, it downloaded 7 of them to my PC. The setup.exe files did not do anything at all and neither would they respond to being installed manually. After half an hour of trying, I uninstalled the software and drivers and spent longer doing them myself.
As the product was covered by a 30-Day money back guarantee, I requested a refund two days later of the $9.99 spent on UpdateMyDrivers as well as the $10 or so that was added to my bill for SpeedUpMyComputer which I never asked for, ordered or wanted. It was literally added to my purchase without telling me.
The resulting communication within their support team has been comical. Three times I have explained my problem with John Shirley and he continues to fob me off. I have now repeated their 30-day money back guarantee quote to them twice and still have not received any refund. Not only that, he's now trying to tell me that I clicked on a pop up to purchase the additional product. This is absolute nonsense.
