On my payday, I checked the balance on my account. When it was different than I expected, I contacted my bank, and we went over all transactions on the account. I had two share dafts paid to Savings Makes Money, one for $87, and one for $19.95. Because each draft had overdrawn my account, there were two additional charges by my bank for $25 each. When I called the company to inquire about the charges, I was rudely told I had authorized them, and went into explaining all of the benefits of membership. When I tried to explain that I didn't even know who they were, the person helping me became very rude. She was also very, very difficult to understand. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, that person was even harder to understand. He was so rude that I finally told him I would be taking legal action. After contacting my bank again, they told me to file a police report, and then a fraudulent transaction affidavit witb them, which I have done. I, too, am on a fixed income. Beware of this scam!!
