FBI warning came up on my computer trying to extort $300 from me. Immediately restarted and searched for virus protection for mac book. Mackeeper came up and offered free download but then said my laptop was too compromised and offered $89.99 for lifetime license of protection against a list of things. Desperate that all that was on my computer not be lost, I purchased. My laptop ran better than ever.
A week later my email was hacked and I had to spend hours having it reset only to find out they are a scam. I am now concerned about identify theft, among other things, since they have my credit card information.
