From now on I do review research before buying. Even so, the fact that I purchased through Paypal is what saved me. (Or maybe my cc would have honored a refund if I refuted). Anyhow the amount seemed reasonable for the shoes - eBay sellers were selling the exact same shoes brand new at comparable prices, but didn't have the color I wanted. Gainrel did. (An aside, buying from China direct will sometimes yield a lower price in exchange for gr8er wait time & no middleman. I've had positive experience such buying from china through eBay. But this wasn't eBay.) Paypal did honor my claim (May 30, 2014). I didn't even have to open a dispute due to the fact that Gainrel's track record with Paypal has merited that their account be shut down as of now this site's account was JUST shut down. as of the last few days. I hate to see that so many people got hurt.
