In April my son and his friend decided to steal underwear from the bay. Never the less they got caught. Few days later I received a letter from patrick Martin asking me to pay 595.00 for damages incurred. I wrote him back asking for what damages. Was the merchandise returned? Yes was it damaged? No did my kid break anything resist arrest? No. This guy is a scammer. Google his name patrick martin lawyer and you will read countless stories of how he tries to black mail naive parents into paying a ridiculous fine. The only time a fine should be paid is when you go to court and a judge tells you to pay it. Other than that ignore it he is a blood ducking amateur lawyer who clearly can't do better than scam peopl we to make a living.
