I was looking for a pure bred, AKC registered, black, brush coat, female, chinese shar pei. I saw a posting from Jennifer, saying she had AKC registered pups available, they came with akc papers, dew claws removed, 2 sets of shots, dewormed, and microchipped. She also promoted that she likes to bring the puppy to the new owner so she can see where the puppy will be living. I paid her for the puppy of my chosing, signed a contract. Jennifer delivered me my puppy on May 3rd, 2014. She told me that she had left all the paperwork at home, and that she would be mailing me the appropriate documents as soon as she got home. After waiting 3 weeks, I decided to call the vet that she had supposedly brought the pups to. I was informed that the puppies were never examined, vaccinated, dewormed or microchipped. That the vet office only did the eye tacking. I called Jen to ask her what was going on and she informed me that she did the vaccines herself, and that the vet office did indeed do everything else. That she had put all the documents in the mail. Several days later I called and emailed AKC to register my puppy. I gave them all of Jennifers information and the "registered" names of the sire and dam. I was told that Jennifer did not have any litters registered to her and the names of the sire and dam were not registered names at all. That they had no information that even suggested she owned any AKC canines. When I confronted Jennifer with that information, she then blocked me on facebook, and stopped returning my phone calls and txts. I have found 2 other people she has done this to, that had purchased puppies from her. PayPal is refusing to dispuite the transaction as they do not cover animals, my bank cannot do anything as they dont cover disputes against live animals either.
