Barely avoided a craigslist scam. Characters involved are Nicholas Long, Brandon Little, Serena Boyd, and a defunct company called Advance-Tech services. They tried the whole western union runaround. The check that they sent me was for 3 times what we had agreed on. I guess they were going for the greed factor. Also, the check was from Advance-Tech Services, but they couldn't even spell Henderson, NV correctly on the check. I called that company and was immediately told that the check was bogus. I guess that they were used to the calls.

I got the same scam to send money via western union just an hour ago too. Your posting confirmed my suspicion.
