My sister received the call from this company stating that there were charges being filed against me and that i needed to call this toll free number without any other info...harassing her about how to get a hold of me.
I called and directly spoke with Jordan Brown who said it was a litigation firm and she was attempting to provide me a settlement of payment for an unpaid payday loan from 2010 before I got served with legal papers to appear in court. I said id call back.
When i did, in the background there was rap music playing and a man saying "hand me a beer"... Her response to me confronting what i heard was that there was a birthday party in the office.
I looked them up on the BBB website and they have an F grade. I told her this and she got loud and started arguing with me then hung up. I called the place she said the loan was from and their corpoate office said it was a scam and to report it to the FBI.gov online crime division.
I was actually going to pay something until this happened, so there werent really any monetary damages.
