There were 3 separate charges on my credit card statement. The first was April10, 2014. The second was April 11, 2014 and the third was April 16, 2014. Each time the charges get larger. It even looks suspicious. I tried several times to get ahold of them and just get busy signals.I am now contacting my CC company.
I have learned that these charges were downloaded software that messed up my PC. Now by strange coincidence I get a call from supposed "widows" technology company that show me my problems and offers to fix all of them for 177.00. So like a panicked idiot I said please do.... And I have found out that they are scammers. The way I learned that was I thought I was getting a follow up phone call from them, only to learn that it was another fraudulent company informing me that the first was scamming me. Yesterday I checked my PC to see if the second company had fixed the issues only to find out they were scammers too. Please, my suggestion for you is that if you get phone calls declaring you have PC issues, tell them that they need to call in a day or two because you are going to. Check them out. Do not let them take remote control of your PC.
