I received a call from Jennifer Smith at ConsumerPaydayloans.com. She said I got approved for a $1500.00 loan and asked me if I wanted to go ahead with the loan process. She had all of my information from address, SSN, DL, email, and bank account info. Jennifer gave me a 10 month payment plan and asked me if I could pay the monthly payment comfortably. She calculated for $1500.00 loaned, I would pay $178.50 for 10 months. She then told me that in order for me to process the loan, I needed to make my 1st payment of the $178 as an identity payment showing the company they were speaking with me. I had to go to Western Union to make this payment. On 10/29, I did go to Western Union to start the process. I then mentioned to her that I didn't feel right about sending this payment and thought this loan was a scam, but she assured me of the company and provided me with her ID# A104 and all of the company info, including business address and website info. While I was filling out the Western Union form to transfer the money, she asked me if I had any American Express debt or Bank of America debt. I said "No", and she assured me that I would receive the loan since I met their requirements. Jennifer said "Once you transfer the $178.00, I will help you complete the Money transfer RECEIVE form from Western Union to receive your refund of the $178.00 along with the $1500 loan. After I sent out the 1st payment of the $178.00, she had transferred me to her SR. Manager, Andy Rogers, because there was an issue with the money transfer amount for me to receive the loan money. The amount they said they would transfer me was $1900 instead of the $1678, but in order for me to receive the $1900 correctly, I needed to send another $222.00 and get the refund of $400.00 that I sent along with the $1500 loan. After I sent the 2nd Western Union transfer, I was transferred over to a tax department. I spoke with Helen and she congratulated me on the loan approval and asked me if I pay my taxes on time, verified the loan amount I was receiving was correct, verified the refund amount from the WU transfers, and then told me that because I will be receiving over $1500.00, I would need to pay a tax fee of $300.00 to complete the loan process. She said if I didn't do this then I wouldn't be able to receive the loan. I did ask if I didn't pay the additional $300, would I be able to receive my money I had already transferred back, and she told me that I would need to speak with the manager helping me with the actual loan. She then asked me what I planned to do. With the $300.00 additional payment, I would now receive the $1500.00 plus the $700.00 I originally placed without the transfer fees I encountered at Western Union. She said once I transfer the $300.00, I would be able to use the Money Transfer form from Western Union and she would activate the MTCN# Andy Rogers provided me. She also said I would receive a call back from Andy to confirm the transfer was complete. About 5 minutes later, I did get the call from Andy, but it wasn't what I was expecting. Andy told me the money went through, but it was frozen because it took me over a 2 hour time period to make the transfers for the loan. In order for me to unfreeze the money, I would need to pay $350.00 more. I was completely upset and refused to make another payment. At this time, I figured I was completely scammed. I told him I had no more money to send. He then said he would call his direct manager to see if the freeze can be cleared since I was trying my best to complete the loan. When he came back on the line, he told me that his manager would pay the $150, but in order for me to make sure the money is unfrozen, I would still need to pay the $200.00. I told him I could not pay that and he then said he would call me on Monday since the WU offices were closed. Today, 11/2/11, Andy contacted me and told me the loan is ready to go, but I still need to pay $150.00 to unfreeze the money. I was beyond upset and told him that I will not do this and that I want to have the $700.00 refunded back to me. He told me that I would need to wait 2 months to process a refund for the money I had transferred. He said it was the Washington State law to process refunds after 2 months of a loan cancellation. At this time, I told him that I would report him and this company of the SCAM they committed and he told me to review their website again and do whatever it is I wanted to do and that he will call me tomorrow to see if I can get the money transferred over to me.

  • When I got home today, 11/2/11, I did google this company, and sure enough, I seen a SCAM complaint and reviewed that person's situation they went through. I didn't know this was an actual scam and I am at a complete loss with everything that happened.

  • Hello, my wife and I went through the same thing today. 11/11/11. When we requested our money back, they proceeded to tell us to send them more money to get not even all of what we already sent. They kept interrupting and wouldn't let us talk. Andy Rogers proceeded on calling my wife a whore, I was talking to a Guy who calls himself steve, when I called the company a scam and fraud business, he threatened me and told me to fuck off and that we had no chance on getting our original money back. What are you plans on his matter? We want to file some type of lawsuit to at least shut them down. You can contact me on here or email, [email protected] or Facebook, Facebook.com/djfx25. Love to talk to you.

  • Soo??? You mean to tell me that no one has been able to recieve there money? I gave up my hard earned money for an advance and theres nothing they can do? Not only are they rude, ignorant, but they made racial comments about Black people. I understand that I may have been rude but one thing is I dont play about my money. Ive submitted complaints to the government, local police, the news, money gram, and here. This company is real although they are scamming people out of there money. Someone needs to do something!!!!!
