  • I just had the same kind of email myself from the same company.
    I must admit that it did sound a bit to weird so i contrast opinion with a friend who later on confirmed me it was an scam.
    The email they sent me was from Deryck ([email protected]) and this is the text:
    The Detailed Position Explanation can be viewed by downloading one of the files from the attachment to this email. If you are ready to apply - please sign the Trial Agreement (second file from the attachment), scan the signed copy and email it back directly to me.
    If you have any questions - don't hesitate to ask. When all questions are answered and the agreement will be signed we will be able to schedule the start date.
    Please be ready to provide the contact information and some personal details upon request.

    <Detailed Position Explanation.doc>
    <Trial Agreement.doc>

    The attached documents are basically the same thing that Martin mentioned.

    Be careful and dont share your details.!!!

  • I have recently been part of an email 'scamp mail' attack on all my contacts on my email address. I feel it may have something to do with these people.

    I got the email back at the beginning of November at replied with my CV. I then got another email through stating what is written in the above comment.

    One of the people I had on my contact list was the owner of 3 large companies an due to this email that was sent to him (bypassed all antivirus programs) he needed to shut the business down this morning and get a tech engineer out to sort the problem. The problem being that they traced it to my personal email address and my home I.P. address. Due to data protection and apparently non-disclosed information he has informed the regional crime squad.

    I wasn't at a PC when these messages where sent and I certainly wasn't at home (was up the In-Laws), though I always leave my Laptop on all day. I am trying to figure out who could have sent these emails through my account and how they would have done it. I have signed up to a few survey websites recently but surely they would really protect the information sent, wouldn't they?

    So the only thing I can think off is YourBids co. Anyone else had the same problem because soon I will have the police on my back and I would like to see if anyone else has had this problem?

    Cheers,

    Luke
