We paid them upfront fees of $3600 and they assured is they would be able to help us save our home. Within a few days after they received the money they sent us a letter stating they could not help us because my son had defaulted on a prior repayment plan. However, they were given this info upfront in a three way conversation so it's the word of my son and myself against Carrie Salerno's. We have sent several emails since this and have not recieved any reply. My son only has 4 days before he loses his home to foreclosure which will also result in him losing his government security clearance and losing his job. Not only did they scam us out of the $3600 upfront, he will also lose the $60,000 downpayment of which I loaned him from my retirement funds. I am too old to be able to replace this money so we have both lost substantially.
