This website gives the impression of being well connected with the mining industry. It is not an employment agency! The website does state this but not obviously. For a 200dollar fee you get an information PDF supposedly customised for you but it looked like only 1 paragraph was directed at me.

Good points-
Lots of links to industry websites
Generic information which could be found out for free but helpful to have in one place

Bad points
Advice from the 'resume expert' was generic to the point I don't think they more than skim read my resume if at all.

But here is what made alarm bells ring for me:
The basis of their advice moving forwards with a job hunt for me was to go to online job boards and search for 'mining engineer'. I am an electrical engineer with no mine experience. They even suggested I search for chemical, mechanical and mining engineering roles which is ridiculous.

Not worth the money. All emails form their staff came from the same email address which makes me think its one person in a room taking peoples money for a PDF.

I exchanged a few emails with them before paying explaining what I was looking for, there were plenty of chances for them to tell me they were no what I thought.

POOR SERVICE, NOT WORTH THE MONEY.
