I must say that my monetary loss from this dreadful company is not as much as I have seen on others complaints, but my story is just as bad. A rep claiming to be an out of state T-Mobile rep from Orlando Florida came to my job in Charlotte NC selling phones and such. I at the time was having issues with my phone service with at&t and said why not. She asked me what did she have to do to get me to buy a phone and first month service.... I said I would like a phone with no contract because I had one with at&t and hated being stuck, mobile tethering that was not super expensive, and a phone with a task manager on it. She searched for a few minutes and said "I got it". I was excited to have a phone with everything I wanted. I had the phone for about a year, no upgrades no nothing. The mobile tethering did not work, the service sucked,and at about 6 months the phone stopped connecting to WiFi all together.I also was promisedthey would pay my termination fee from at&t and when I called to figure out why it had not been paid they then told me that I had to send in all these papers and I will be reimburse d for it.... This is not what the rep told me. Yet another lie that cost me almost 300 bucks! Eventually My girlfriend went out and got me a new phone andwith a new provider because she was tired of hearing me complain about it. I call to cut my t mobile phone off and pay my last bill and the lady says okay... That will be 200 bucks!!! I scratch my head.. Huh??? She says I had been enrolled into a 2 year contract!!! I said when??? So now I am jumping through all these hoops to try to not have to pay these people 200 dollars for ending a contract I never even knew I was in smh.
