I put my car in auto trader and got a text from autobuyers offering me £250 less than asking price and was pleased with that. It said I only had 24 hours to accept the offer and had to give a refundable booking fee of £75 through ukash at a pay point machine. As this is a well known method of payment I was sure that it would be safe. It would not accept a booking until I entered the code from the receipt on to the website. It said on the website that the booking was confirmed and to get my documents for the car ready as they would be coming that same day. They did not come. I cannot even access the web site now to get the number to call them.
