They claim to offer grants from the Federal Reserve Bank in New York. A woman called me and offered me a $7,000 grant. I did not think it was a scam because I signed up for a couple of grants on the internet. The woman said to load $200 on the money pak card and the $7,000 plus the $200 would be deposited onto my pre paid debit card (net spend). I bought the card then he gave me an ID number..... As soon as she had the moneypak code she gave me this telephone number (646)-863-6111. Where a man who calls himself James claimed to work at the federal bank took my confirmation number and said that the money would be deposited on to my card!!!! After we hung the phone up he called me back to tell me that the IRS had a hold on the money and it was coming from Washington so I had to pay a Tax to them of $700 more up front..... I was told to get 2 money parks because you are only a Lyle to load 500 on a money pak sooo to get 2 of them and put $350 on each.... he guaranteed I would have the money in 2hours.... The money I saved to put towards a family vacation is gone..... hopefully I can work enough hours to make it back before summer..... I'm sooo pissed!!!!
