Purchased online Stella by Stella MCCartney perfume for my wife for Christmas. Chased it up various times leading up to Christmas as it had not arrived and was told it was dispatched on 10 December 2013 but it did not arrive. Again in late January followed up product and was told it should be with me, give it a few more days. after another week, still not having received the product told company I wanted a full refund or the perfume sent express mail.
The company then placed a claim for non-delivered goods with the post, they say. I asked for clarification on what this meant but never received a reply.
I decided then to lodge another complaint via their web page as Harvey Rose who was handling my matter never answered my questions and it was as if a computer was generating the replies.
I then heard from a lady who advised the perfume was being redelivered free of charge on 17 February 2014 now. The item was received on 25 February 2014 but was post marked from Slovakia and was a completely different type of Stella perfume, one that in fact was stopped being manufactured some 5 years earlier and the product was also 'off'. I sent photos of the wrong product.
Ten it seems Harvey once again got involved and told me to send product back at my expenses mind you so they could examine more closely and told me I had 15 days to do so.
I advised him that I would not do that as I was already out of pocket for their constant errors. I also completed a complaint form.
I was then referred to some European Consumer Marketing rights saying I was responsible not the supplier Life Style Shop and that I needed to return for replacement or refund. Keeping in mind I am based in Australia and they are in the UK.
I complained again 12 March 2014 and once again got a brief computer type reply to send the product back. I have advised them no I won't be and that I will be putting it out to the world about their lack of service.
Did i also mention the phone number I had which was on their earlier emails
+44 20 8816 8551 just rings out, and in fact now does not even appear on their emails or website.
This company is clearly shonky and you should deal with them at your own peril. I have obviously lost my money and moreso my wife is still to receive her Christmas present due to Life Style Shop and the lack of service of Harvey Rose.
