I received my February 2014 PSE&G electric bill totaling an enormous $632.96 ($490.67 of that for 3rd party supply charges from Constellation Energy). March's bill was another $377.93 for supply while I wait for the official switch back to PSE&G's fixed rate.

I contacted Sean in Customer Service who informed me that I was put on a variable rate plan because they didn't receive the request to remain on a fixed plan. I also spoke to a Supervisor who said she can’t do anything about the bill but could offer me a $50 gift card (which she never sent).

In late 2013 I received a reply by mail letter asking me to renew my fixed rate plan for another 12 months. I promptly signed it and dropped it in the mail. I am now being penalized for this letter being lost in the mail or in their sort facility. Constellation should not be relying on the postal service for contract renewals. They have the option to renew electronically so there is a record of the transaction. Honestly, this seems like a scam.

I have sent a certified letter to Constellation, sent over 15 emails, called......no responses and they are not willing to work with me. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and NJ Utilites Commission and still have not received any resolution.
