Phone call came in offering a 100 dollar Walmart gift certificate? Gave some Information to supposedly be charged a 7.50 registration fee. A week later got a letter stating that I had joined an outfit called funvantage notifying me that I was being charged !9.95. per month.
I called to cancel and after a 20 minute wait my call was dropped. I called again and was told that my credit card had been charged for the first month service. I had never agreed to join any club but was charged and I still have not received a my refund. I advice for anybody receiving this type calls to beware, it is a scam, and I hope that somebody does something about it.
