I got a call from a guy from Pearl Media UK claiming to sell first page on google adverts. I went as far as requesting an invoice from him, it read as follows:

Hi

Thank you for your time on the phone.
Following the conversation regarding guaranteed first page location on Google, please find all the information discussed.
Once your advert is live on Google, your customers will click onto your ad and be taken directly to your website.
This would be a 30 day campaign for just £149 + VAT
