I received a check for a purchase and it has been returned. I confirmed

I did take all this information to the local police department who supposedly have a department for fraud on the internet. At the time, Craigs List had no such department.
This gentlemen also switched movers 2 times on me. When I contacted the above mentioned person, who acted as if he knew nothing about it. I have several other emails from Tthomas regarding this transaction. In checking with the bank, originally the check cleared, but then I was told it actually takes 7 business days to clear. The worst experience of my life.
