I tried to apply for a loan online. One of the compainies had a dialogue box below the information, which I thought was part of the application. I clicked on the 'I agree' to the terms, thinking it was part of the online agreement. However, I cancelled the loan application and thought that cancelled everything. The company above withrew the $87.00 and when I called to explain, hoping for a refund, all I got was 'you gave permission. While talking to customer rep, I went online and read postings on the "Scambook" and knew I had been duped. $87.00 may not be a lot to some people, but it is me. Why else would be trying to get another loan, until I woke up and cancelled. realizing that was not the answer. If you can help, please try, thank you kindly.
