Started writing to him on Messenger in 1-2013 til present. I became friends with him and of course he told me he had lost his wife 5 yrs. ago to lung cancer and had a daughter and sister in NYC and was deployed out of Ft. Bliss in Elpaso, Tx and he was stationed in Afghanistan, he was a first sergeant and a Flight Lt. He sent me flowers with the teddy bears attached and pictures in uniform, he had some gold that he was trying to get out of Africa and needed a investor and needed some funds. So I sent the company some funds not all at one time but over the course of a year with the promise that my name was on the gold shipment and it would be shipped to me here in the USA when it was paid for, but wasn't to say anything to anyone cuz then they would want in on it also. Also that he didn't know when for sure he would be back stateside before the end of 2013. He also had a friend call posing as another investor and needed me to go to the Apple store and purchase Iphones and Ipads to send to a Richie Churchill in Accra, Ghana. Didn't happen that he came home and now he is telling me that the shipment is in Customs in London with a fee of $9,000 attached. That is when I really became suspicious of him. Boy what a jerk I was but because he was on a FB page of a friend that I know personally I trusted him. Hopefully this will help others not to fall for this scam and thinking you were getting a honest and religious person with out meeting face to face first. Beware ladies.
